The City of Calgary is updating its Cultural Plan, and it wants to know what arts and culture mean to you.
The new plan will guide arts, culture, music and the creative economy for the next 30 years, the City says. It updates Calgary's first cultural plan, from 2016.
"Arts and culture are part of how we experience Calgary every day," said Franca Gualtieri, the City's manager of arts and culture.
How to take part
You have until Nov. 15 to:
Fill out the online survey, join an online information session or stop by an open house. Details are on the engagement page, or call 311.
What happens next
The City will publish a What We Heard report. A second round of engagement with the public and the arts sector starts in spring 2027, and the proposed plan goes to council in late 2027.
