The votes are in and Mark Carney and the Liberal Party have won the federal election. Albertans—as expected—painted the province blue. We took a look at all of the local ridings in the Calgary area.

Calgary Signal Hill: David McKenzie | Conservative
Calgary Centre: Greg McLean | Conservative
Calgary East: Jasraj Hallan | Conservative
Calgary Heritage: Shuv Majumdar | Conservative
Calgary Midnapore: Stephanie Kusie | Conservative
Calgary Shepard: Tom Kmiec | Conservative
Yellowhead: William Stevenson | Conservative
Bow River: David Bexte | Conservative
Foothills: John Barlow | Conservative
The Calgary Confederation riding is the only one that is still too close to call by this morning. Liberal Corey Hogan is leading by 875 votes over Conservative Jeremy Nixon.
