The Calgary Youth Singers are in dire need of a new roof
Donations can be made at YouthSingers.org.
The Calgary Youth Singers are scrambling to keep a roof over their heads as the ATCO Performing Arts Centre roof is in dire need of costly repairs, jeopardizing the organizations’ future.
As the group reports, every time there is rain or melting snow, water leaks through the roof into the ceiling and the interior of the building. The organization believes it will cost up to $600,000 to repair and it is hoping to raise $80,000 from Calgarians while Alberta government funding will help with the rest.
More than 500 performers and artists use the facility. Donations can be made online.
