I don’t have to tell you how cold it is out there because you already know! I will, however, share a photo I took amid the storm that is letting me get the extra relaxation I need. Even if you enjoy being snowed in, it’s still nice to get out and enjoy some of what the city has to offer despite the freezing temperatures. Here are a few ways to get out and have some fun while staying warm.

The Science Centre: Check out the city’s science centre for its regular programming, its special events, or for adult-night after hours. There’s lots going on this month and you can still catch the digital immersion gallery’s Goodnight Moon.

High Performance Rodeo: The 38th One Yellow Rabbit’s annual High Performance Rodeo is bringing more than 235 artists to 15 venues as it kicks off Chinook Blast, which we will talk about in an upcoming newsletter.

Flames/Wranglers/Hitmen games: For the sports fans, you can’t go wrong with a game from one of the city’s big hockey teams. Sure you have to brave the cold to get there, but it heats up when you’re in the stands cheering your team on.
