The search for Parker, an 11-year-old boy missing since Thursday, is now being supported by the RCMP alongside Calgary Police Service search teams. Parker was last seen at his day home in the 0 to 100 block of Connaught Drive N.W. sometime between 11:08 and 11:41 a.m. on July 16. Clothing believed to belong to him was found around noon that day in the 0 to 100 block of Northmount Drive N.W., and CCTV footage captured him later that afternoon, at 12:52 p.m., in the 5000 to 6000 block of Travis Crescent N.E.

More than 300 CPS members have been involved in the search so far, alongside about 120 trained volunteers coordinated through Search and Rescue Alberta. Police have reviewed roughly 50 hours of CCTV, security camera, and dashcam footage, and have received and assessed about 90 tips. Search efforts now are increasingly focused on areas tied to Parker's last known movements, with officers canvassing communities, following up on leads, and reviewing new footage as it comes in. Investigators have also used details from Parker's family about his interests to guide the search — including playing some of his favourite Disney songs from patrol vehicles in search areas.

Parker is neurodivergent and non-verbal, and police say he may become more frightened if approached by strangers. Anyone who sees him is asked not to approach, but to keep him in sight and call 911 immediately.

Police are asking Calgarians who want to help to be mindful of a few things: avoid areas where official searches are underway, don't interfere with search operations, stay off private property without permission, and be cautious of the heat if searching independently. Parking is limited near the search area, so residents are asked to keep access routes clear for emergency vehicles.

Residents can help by checking their own properties — garages, sheds, pools, hot tubs, and other spots a child might seek shelter — and by reviewing home security footage. Anyone with relevant footage or information is asked to call police at 403-266-1234, submit tips online, or contact Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 or through the P3 Tips app.

Parker was last seen shirtless, wearing dark shorts and black noise-cancelling headphones. He is described as 4'11", about 90 pounds, with brown hair, a shaved head, and brown eyes.
