Two Calgary organizations are marking a shared milestone this spring: 30 years of community impact and a long-standing partnership that both say is all too rare.

About Staffing, a for-profit recruitment firm, and Safe Haven Foundation of Canada, a nonprofit supporting girls and young women at risk of homelessness, will celebrate the occasion at Pearls & Prosecco, a rooftop fundraiser at the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel on May 29, bringing together 300 guests from Calgary's business and philanthropic communities.

The two organizations have played distinct but complementary roles in the city. About Staffing has spent 30 years connecting Calgarians to work across industries, reinvesting a portion of its revenue into community initiatives. Safe Haven has walked alongside girls and young women experiencing or at risk of homelessness, providing housing, education pathways, and long-term support. Calgarians are invited to join the celebration and be part of what comes next.

Both are women-led, and both say their partnership reflects something they'd like to see more of — sustained, evolving collaboration between the for-profit and nonprofit sectors with measurable community outcomes.
